Switch Off
vivo is committed to building deeper connections and creating memories.
In today’s digital age, smartphones keep us connected, but excessive usage can distract us from the relationships that matter most—our loved ones. At vivo, we strive to foster a better relationship with smartphones and prioritize real-life connections.
Take a moment to unplug and reconnect with your loved ones.
Let’s pledge to switch off our phones on December 20 (vivo Switch Off Day) and prioritize our relationships with our loved ones.
To help you stay inspired, we’d love to send gentle reminders and updates to foster mindful smartphone usage. Please share your contact number to join the movement and amplify the cause.
**Rest assured, your number will only be used to share reminders and updates for Switch Off, not for any other promotional content.

Find out how healthy your smartphone relationship is?
Answer these questions to assess your current relationship with your smartphone and receive suggestions for what you can do right now to create a better smartphone relationship and reconnect with the people who matter the most to you.
Q1. Do you often lose track of time when using your smartphone?
Q2. Do you feel like your smartphone usage is negatively affecting your relationships?
Q3. Do you often check your smartphone (or keep it on the table) while eating meals?
Q4. Do you feel anxious when you are separated from your smartphone, even for a short while?
Q5. Do you often check your smartphone when you are spending time with your family or your friends?
Q6. If you hear your smartphone ring or feel it buzz, do you feel an intense need to immediately check it, even if you are in the middle of doing something else?
Q7. Do you often use or check your smartphone during tasks that you know require your full attention, such as driving or crossing the street?
Q8. Is your smartphone often the last thing you look at before you go to sleep, and the first thing you interact with in the morning?
Q9. Do you wish you could spend less time on your smartphone?
Q10. Do you feel like your use of your smartphone makes it difficult to focus?
Each time you notice yourself reaching for your phone, you ask yourself these questions.
“What for?” is an opportunity to ask what your purpose was in reaching for your phone (don’t be surprised to discover that you often don’t have a concrete purpose at all).
“Why now?” is an opportunity to figure out what contexts or states of mind cause you to reach for your phone. For example, are there any emotional states (e.g. loneliness, boredom, anxiety) that seem to trigger a desire to check your phone?
“What else?” is your opportunity to ask yourself if there is something you’d rather be doing than be on your phone (your sticky notes can help!).
Here’s your guide to maintain a healthy relationship with your smartphone
Switch Off
The greatest joys come from moments born of undivided attention and heartfelt connections with our loved ones. Although nowadays, excessive smartphone usage is becoming a hindrance to building deeper connections. So, choose to switch off and cherish the smiles that matter most.
