vivo Ignite 2026 apply online

Big innovations often begin with a simple thought: “What if this could work differently?” Through its technology and innovation initiative, vivo Ignite, vivo continues to encourage young innovators and changemakers across India to turn ideas into meaningful solutions for real-world challenges.

Now returning with its exciting fourth edition, the initiative is once again inviting students from Classes 8–12 across India to think bigger, innovate boldly, and create meaningful impact.

Before our future changemakers get ready to bring their ideas to life, there are a few things they need to know first. So, if you’re eligible and ready to participate, here’s a simple step-by-step guide to help you register and submit your big idea.

This is How Your vivo Ignite Journey Begins

The registration and submission process have been designed to be simple and student friendly. Before you begin, make sure one of your parents or legal guardians is present for online consent and approval.

Step 1: Visit the Official Portal & Get Your Parents’ Approval

Visit the vivo Ignite website and click on “Login/Register” in the top-right corner to begin. Before moving ahead, a parental consent pop-up will appear, so make sure you review the instructions carefully and seek approval from your parent or legal guardian.

Step 2: Register Yourself on the Platform

Students can register in two ways; either by signing in with their Google Account or through an Email OTP verification. Simply choose your preferred option, verify your details, and proceed to the registration form. In case you don’t receive the OTP email, make sure to check your spam or junk folder.

Step 3: You’re Officially In!

This is the part where your vivo Ignite journey starts feeling real. Simply add your basic details, verify your mobile number through an OTP, and answer a few quick questions before moving ahead.

Before registration is completed, your parent or legal guardian will also need to review and approve your details. Once that’s done, you’re officially registered and ready to begin your idea submission journey.

Upon successful registration, a confirmation page stating “Registration Success!” will appear on your screen. You will also receive a confirmation email on your registered email ID before moving ahead to the idea submission stage.

Step 4: Begin Your Idea Submission Journey

Once registered, you can start your submission right away or save the draft and return later through your dashboard. Simply choose whether you want to participate individually or as a team, add your school and participation details, and quickly review the guidelines before moving ahead to submit your idea.

Step 5: Nominate the Teacher Who Believed in Your Idea

Behind every student’s vision, is a teacher who says, “Take a chance, this could actually work.” If a teacher guided, encouraged, or supported your innovation journey, vivo Ignite gives you a chance to nominate them for the Teacher Innovation Fellowship. Simply select “Yes,” add their basic details, and move ahead. If not, you can choose “No” and continue with your submission.

Step 6: Complete the Student Survey

Participants will then be asked to complete a short survey consisting of multiple-choice questions.

The survey is designed to understand:

  • Student motivations
  • Innovation interests
  • Learning preferences
  • Creative thinking patterns

Answer honestly and thoughtfully before moving ahead.

Step 7: Bring Your Idea to Life Through the Project Display Board (PDB)

Think of the PDB as the place where your idea finally gets its voice. This is where you move beyond “I have an idea” and actually explain what inspired it, what problem it solves, and how it can make a difference in the real world.

From your project title and concept to the impact it can create, every section helps shape the story behind your innovation. So don’t rush through it, imagine you’re explaining your idea to someone for the very first time and helping them see why it matters.

Step 8: Review, Upload & Submit

Before submitting, select the relevant UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) connected to your idea and upload any supporting files or visuals. You’ll also need to confirm that your submission is original and can be developed into a working model if shortlisted for the National Finale.

Step 9: One Final Check Before You Hit “Submit”

Take one last look at your project details, uploaded files, and contact information before hitting “Submit.” Once submitted, your idea cannot be edited again.

After successful submission, you’ll receive a confirmation email from the vivo Ignite team. And that’s it!

Ideas Don’t Need a Reason, They Can Begin Anywhere.

All it takes is one question, one observation or one idea/thought in class to create something meaningful. vivo Ignite enables young changemakers with a platform to think big, solve real-world challenges, and turn ideas into impact. And if your idea stands out, your journey could even lead you to the National Finale in New Delhi. Remember, the last date to apply for vivo Ignite 4th Edition is June 30, 2026.
