
With a mission to empower the next generation, vivo Ignite was launched to drive social change and support the country’s development by providing scholarships, innovation platforms, and mentorship, especially for female STEM students.
Technology and Innovation Initiative

In 2024-25, the T&I Initiative launched its third edition to look for India’s next changemaker! Students from grades 8–12 across India were invited to tackle real-world challenges with tech-driven solutions. Themes include Software-Tech Innovations, Agriculture and Climate Solutions, Community Development Projects. The top 10 participants received guided mentorship and workshop sessions from the IITM Pravartak Technologies Foundation, winning scholarships worth up to INR 35 lakhs*.




Changemakers of 2024-25

In 2023, the second edition of the T&I Initiative, open to students in grades 8–12, showcased the remarkable ingenuity of India’s youth under the theme ‘Tech for Good.’ It showcased innovative solutions for societal challenges, reaffirming vivo’s dedication to empowering young minds and fostering technology-driven progress for a brighter future. Changemakers of 2023

In 2022, vivo Ignite: Technology and Innovation Initiative was launched to empower students from classes 8 to 12 across India to tackle real-world challenges with tech-driven solutions. With over 3,000 registrations and 1,100+ submissions, the program awarded scholarships worth ₹25 lakhs to the top 10 winners. This initiative reflects vivo’s commitment to fostering innovation and a problem-solving mindset in youth for lasting societal impact. The edition saw:




vivo KanyaGyaan
'vivo KanyaGyaan’ initiative, in collaboration with the Shooting Stars Foundation, supports India’s growth by promoting gender inclusivity in STEM fields. The program offers merit-based scholarships up to INR 60,000, along with mentorship and customized learning sessions to help women transition into the corporate world.

Our ‘vivo For Education’ initiative, launched during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, provides smartphones and merit-based assistance to underprivileged students in India. This program has empowered 280 students to continue their education across schools and colleges.
